My oil paintings of people fluctuate between realism and expressionism with exaggerated colors and bold marks. I want my paintings to stir emotion and create an opportunity for people to discuss issues that I find important as well as being ascetically pleasing and interesting to look at.
The Trump painting is special to me because it made me believe in art. for the six or so hours before it was removed from Facebook the right and left came together to fight on my post. I had never seen anything like it. It made me realize that a simple little piece of art, some colorful paint on a pine board, had real power. I’m not here to start a fight, I just thought it would be nice for my first NFT.
